fourscoreandsevenyearsago，ourfathersbroughtforthuponthiscontinentanewnation，conceivedinliberty，anddedicatedtothepropositionthatallmenarecreatedequal.now，weareengagedinagreatcivilwar，testingwhetherthatnation，oranynationsoconceivedandsodedicated，canlongendure.wearemetonagreatbattlefieldofthatwar.wehavecometodedicateaportionofthatfieldasafinalresting-placeforthosewhogavetheirlivesthatnationmightlive.itisaltogetherfittingandproperthatweshoulddothis.but，inalargersense，wecannotdedicate，wecannotconsecrate，wecannothallowthisground.thebravemen，livinganddead，whostruggledhere，haveconsecrateditfaraboveourpowertoaddordetract.theworldwilllittlenotenorlongrememberwhatwesayhere，butitcanneverforgetwhattheydidhere.itisforus，theliving，rathertobededicatedtothegreattaskremainingbeforeus;thatfromthesehonoreddead，wetakeincreaseddevotiontothatcauseforwhichtheygavethelastfullmeasureofdevotion;thatthisnation，undergod，shallhaveanewbirthoffreedom;andthatgovernmentofthepeoplebythepeopleandforthepeopleshallnotperishfromtheearth."主讲：亚伯拉罕·林肯
